Are you an A-Player lawyer who wants your work to truly matter?
At Hope Springs Fertility Law, every agreement you draft, every client you advise, and every negotiation you manage helps make parenthood possible. This is not just another legal job, it's a chance to be part of a mission that changes lives.
Founded by Cindy Wasser, a pioneer in Canadian fertility law, our firm is Canada's leading practice in assisted reproduction law. We are a high-performing, compassionate, and collaborative team who support families on one of the most meaningful journeys of their lives.
This is a 100% remote position open to lawyers qualified to practice in Canada. You'll work alongside top professionals while having the flexibility to grow in your own environment.
Why Work with Us?
At Hope Springs, you will:
Make a lasting impact.
The families we serve will always remember your role in their story.
Work with excellence.
You'll learn from and collaborate with leaders in the field, setting the standard for fertility law in Canada.
Grow continuously.
You are not expected to know everything on day one--but you will be expected to take full ownership for learning and becoming an expert. We invest in mentorship and development, and we expect you to do the same for yourself.
Thrive in a supportive culture.
We are professional, empathetic, and team-driven. We hold ourselves accountable to high standards, but we do it together.
What We Expect from You
We are only looking for A-Players. If you need constant direction, prefer excuses over solutions, or hesitate to take responsibility, this is not the role for you.

Holds 3-5 years of experience in family law, fertility law, or related practice areas.
Has strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.
Excels at legal research, drafting, and client communications.
Demonstrates extreme ownership: you take responsibility for your work, own mistakes, and fix them, and proactively expand your knowledge.
Thrives under pressure, balancing multiple deadlines with professionalism.
Is systems-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive--you improve processes instead of just completing tasks.
Is compassionate and client-centered, willing to be available outside of regular business hours when clients need you most.
Values continuous learning and strives to be the best in your field.
What You'll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for intended parents, surrogates, and donors as well as draft parentage applications.
Manage client interactions with empathy and clarity, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey.
Conduct legal research using Quicklaw and other tools to ensure airtight advice and agreements.
Create and implement efficient systems and process flows within your files.
Collaborate with colleagues while independently managing files from intake to resolution.
Stay ahead of evolving legal frameworks in fertility and family law, contributing to innovation in the field.
