The Opportunity
This role is designed for a
General Litigation Lawyer
who wants independence with support. It is well-suited for a motivated litigator who values their autonomy, client advocacy, and career growth. In this role you'll carry your own files, argue in court, negotiate settlements, and build long-term client relationships -- all while backed by a firm that invests in your success from your first day here.
We offer a
commission split structure
that directly rewards performance, with flexibility to discuss a
base salary + commission hybrid
for candidates who value financial stability as they grow their practice.
Your Key Responsibilities
Manage and litigate a variety of disputes including civil, commercial, estate, employment, and real estate matters.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motion records, affidavits, and factums.
Represent clients before courts, tribunals, mediations, and arbitrations.
Negotiate settlements while advocating firmly for client interests.
Build strong client relationships with professionalism and integrity.
Contribute to firm growth through quality representation and client service.
What We're Looking For
A lawyer in good standing with the
Law Society of Ontario.
1-5 years of litigation experience
(civil, commercial, estates, employment, or related).
Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and client management skills.
An entrepreneurial mindset -- you see law as both a calling and an opportunity.
