Dober Williams Law Group ("Dober Williams") is seeking an experienced solicitor to join our growing team as an Associate Lawyer. You will manage a varied and engaging workload involving residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial and private lending, general corporate and commercial matters, wills and estates, and, where applicable, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other business transactions.
This position requires experience with business transactions as you will play an integral role in supporting and leading clients through the purchase and sale of businesses and related commercial arrangements. You'll work closely with a seasoned team of lawyers and paralegals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish, including purchases, sales, and refinances.
Act for borrowers and lenders on private and institutional financing transactions.
Advise clients on corporate and commercial matters, including incorporations, corporate reorganizations, shareholder agreements, business sales, and acquisitions (including M&A transactions).
Prepare and review wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements.
Provide clear, practical legal advice aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and referral sources.
Manage files independently while working collaboratively within a supportive team.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in solicitor practice with demonstrated experience in business transactions or M&A (required).
Additional experience in any of the following areas is an asset: real estate conveyancing, commercial lending, corporate/commercial, or wills and estates.
Demonstrated ability to manage files independently from start to completion.
Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
A client-focused approach and commitment to excellence in service.
An existing practice or client base is an asset but not required.
