Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lawyer with 2+ years of bar post call experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to provide sound legal advice and representation to clients. This role requires excellent research, negotiation, and drafting skills, as well as proficiency in utilizing legal research tools.

Duties

Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents such as pleadings. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations. Provide legal advice to clients on various areas of law i.e Family Law, Immigration, Civil , Estate Administration, Real Estate, Wills and Estates. Maintain accurate records of case files and documentation. Collaborate with other lawyers and staff to ensure effective case management. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients or the firm.

Requirements

Law degree from a verifiable law school within or outside Canada. Admission to the bar in the Province of Alberta. Proficiency in legal drafting and negotiation techniques. Strong research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$190,818.51 per year
