Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Associate Lawyer

to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position in Creston, BC.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and offering legal counsel in the firm's core practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis across relevant practice areas Draft and review contracts, wills, corporate documents, and other legal materials Provide legal counsel and support to clients in Real Estate, Wills & Estates, and Corporate matters Manage and maintain case files Represent clients effectively, negotiations, and other legal proceedings Ensure all legal work complies with current laws and regulations

Qualifications

Experience in legal research and drafting legal documents Strong ability to provide practical legal advice and counsel Effective client consultation and communication skills Competency in managing files and representing clients in legal matters Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in Real Estate law, Wills & Estates, or Corporate law Familiarity with legal practices and procedures in a small-town or regional setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$160,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
