Job Title Associate Investment Advisor



What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Vaughan is seeking an Associate Investment Advisor to join a high performing Wealth Advisory Team. Your focus will be to develop new and deepen existing client relationships by offering sound advice and support to clients in partnership with the team. Identifying new business opportunities will be key.

What will you do?

• Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
• Identify and execute opportunities among existing client base for asset consolidation, referrals, etc.
• Work closely with the portfolio management team to keep clients updated on investment strategies and current market trends.
• Partner with an associate to collaboratively provide an exceptional, timely, proactive client experience.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
• Working towards or have successfully completed the Investment Management Techniques (IMT) Course/ CIM or CFA
• University degree
• A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, and a familiarity with Sales Force

Nice-to-have

• 4 years or more of professional experience within investment industry
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
• CIM designation, an asset
• Community involvement
