ABOUT THIS ROLE

Parexel\xe2\x80\x99s Medical Communications group has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Graphic Artist to join their global Creative Service\xe2\x80\x99s Studio team. As an Associate Graphic Artist, you will support the overall day-to-day operations of the Studio to ensure the successful delivery of all project materials while meeting high quality standards, on-time, and on-budget. This is your opportunity to grow and develop in a well-established Studio. Location: Remote from any location in Canada. May be requested to work Pacific or Mountain time hours. Who we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

A graphic artist with deep understanding of pre-production, printing requirements, corporate graphics, branding guidelines, or templated graphic work. Using Adobe CC in a Mac environment you will support the Studio on a variety of medical communication artwork using InDesign for both print and digital publishing. Projects will include scientific posters, journal figures, as well as patient recruitment materials such as brochures and advertising posters. If you are a resourceful, innovative thinker with a high attention to detail and a flexible approach you will be a great asset to this team. As part of a truly global team, you will work home based on an altered schedule. Required Skills:

• 6 months to 1+ year of experience with:
• Creative Artworker experienced with typography, brochure work and page layout
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds and have the ability to take existing design and entering into a preproduction.
• Mac skills working in Adobe CC
• Experience user of Creative Cloud Suite, Indesign (Strong/Expert); Illustrator and Photoshop, Indesign
• Good communication (Verbal and Written) and teamwork
• A meticulous eye for detail, with good organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of page layout with a passion for typography and ability to visually enhance layouts for client satisfaction
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with enthusiasm and attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Sense of urgency and achievement
• Relevant degree or equivalent work experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and writing skills
