About Us:

Mid-Main Community Health Centre's Dental Clinic is a busy, dynamic non-profit clinic that uses interdisciplinary teams and technology to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care to our patients. Our general dentists work in a supportive capacity with other members of the dental clinic team, which includes 6 dentists, 5 hygienists, 4 CDAs, and 4 admins.At Mid-Main, we are dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality dental care to a diverse population, including individuals and families who are uninsured or face financial barriers and adults and children with disabilities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and committed to building strong patient relationships. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional looking to practice in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex dental procedures including exams, restorations, root canals, extractions, etc Implant placement and grafting (beneficial but not required) Invisalign case management (beneficial but not required) Educate patients on oral health and preventive care Develop personalized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely patient records Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and front office staff to ensure an excellent patient experience Have a willingness to learn understand the intricacies of government and other ministry dental plans

Requirements:

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Registered and in good standing with BCCOHP and CDA Minimum availability of

2 days per week

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical care Participation in billing to CDCP (by procedure), MSSH, MEIA, Healthy Kids, and IFH
