About the Role



Our individual owned and operated branch within Assante Wealth Management is seeking a licensed Associate Financial Advisor to join our growing advisory team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about building lasting client relationships while supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning and advisory services.

As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will work closely with the Senior Financial Advisors and work directly with client households. Your primary focus will be on providing day-to-day support, preparing financial analysis and projections, implementing investment strategies, and ensuring an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities



Serve as the primary relationship manager for certain clients Support Senior Financial Planners by completing financial projections and analysis, confirming trades, and processing client requests. Conduct financial reviews with clients to gather data and assess their needs, goals, and risk tolerance. Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm policies. Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests to maintain a high level of service. Collaborate with administrative staff and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and servicing.

Qualifications & Requirements



Must hold a valid Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC) or equivalent required to conduct securities business in Ontario. Life Insurance License (LLQP) considered an asset. Working toward or completion of the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation is an asset 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in a client-facing, advisory support, or client service role. Solid understanding of financial planning concepts, investment products, and industry regulations (IIROC/MFDA). Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
