This group ensures Beta delivery for PSP, with the primary aim of minimizing deviations from PSP\'s benchmarks. In addition, the group ensures that it maximizes the value of its assets through Beta optimization and equity financing transactions, as well as optimizing the external lending and borrowing of its securities. The incumbent will mainly contribute to the optimization of PSP\'s equity beta portfolio.ABOUT YOUR ROLEAs an Associate, Equity Replication and Balance-Sheet Activities, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:Provide insights to Beta portfolio construction by incorporating internal and external quantitative strategiesContribute to the strategies of Beta enhanced portfolios and balance sheetActively engage in diverse strategies to improve PSP\'s beta portfoliosBack-testing on internal and external quantitative strategiesResearch and develop quantitative and systematic investment strategiesCollaborate with other PSP groups on quantitative solutionsLearn the processes of equity index management and currency hedgingAssist in projects aimed at enhancing team performance and efficiencySupport PSP\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio construction team and dynamic asset allocation teamDevelop market intelligence to help portfolio managers optimize their exposureWHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEEDBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields; Graduate degree or MBA, an assetProfessional designation such as CFA considered an assetMinimum of five (5) years of work experience in public equity portfolios or any other combination of relevant education and experienceAdvanced knowledge of mathematicsProficiency in statistical analysis and data modellingGood knowledge of derivatives and derivatives tradingStrong programming skills, particularly in languages such as PythonHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (more specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and with financial analytical tools such as BloombergDemonstrated team spirit, eager to work in a high-performance culture and willing to learn from experienced team membersBilingualism required (fluency in French and English, spoken and written) *Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and OttawaWe offer a tailored employee experience and competitive total rewards and benefits package* designed to attract and retain global diverse talent, reward performance, and reinforce business strategies and priorities.
