Responsibilities

  • Support and execute projects per Flawless Launch Process
  • Responsible for the Coordination of launch activities, design, build and commissioning, timing of new product lines and modifications.
  • Be responsible for successful sampling preparation and launch of equipment, develop and follow up timing plan and actions (PDCA, Handover Checklist, Readiness checklist). The AME is also responsible for sampling preparation of other projects in the local plant (readiness checklist).
  • Create Manuf. System Design (MSD) and PCE /CD sheets for new projects
  • Support the ECR and ECO process
  • Plan and manage Plant CAPEX. Order equipment on time as planned.
  • Be responsible and perform PFMEA before ordering e.g. tools, equipment
  • Ensure your participation for Design Review and Drawing review
  • Support regional AM Team (SAM) by defining SOW
  • Support for continuous improvement of existing product lines in located plant related to production equipment and tools.
  • Responsible for manufacturing flow/ methods according Kautex Standards
  • Ensure transfer of technical knowledge and prevent reoccurrence of failures ( A3 thinking)
  • Support production issues like blow moulding, welding, assembly and testing problems, fire fighting in the plant related to production equipment, tools and machines (BMM).
  • Support purchase department and SAM during the supplier nomination process for process equipment, take part at concept meetings, check concept to our specifications
Qualifications
  • College degree in technical field (preferably Manufacturing Engineering)
  • 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Injection Mold and Blow Mold experience
  • Risk Management / FMEA/ Risk Assessment
  • Good command of primary language of plant is mandatory
English language skills would be beneficial
