Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is seeking Associate candidates to join its Diversified Investment Banking group in Toronto, one of our largest offices. Associates in this group are generalists, gaining experience across the full spectrum of non-resource industries (including Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Consumer Products, Industrials, Real Estate, Healthcare and Financials, among others) and product groups (M&A, Corporate Finance, and Restructuring).

Associates will have a key role in all aspects of developing and executing transactions, including financial analysis, valuation analysis, detailed modeling, preparation of presentation materials, research of company and industry dynamics, preparation of offering documents and marketing transactions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of a university degree in a business-related discipline;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of investment banking experience - experience in both M&A and corporate finance preferred;
  • Solid quantitative skills including strong financial modeling skills;
  • Strong analytical ability and written communication skills;
  • Resourceful, diligent and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
