JOB SUMMARYThe Associate Director, under the direction of Director, PSS oversees, at a strategic level, four or more Program Managers (PM) responsible for different clients. The Associate Director, in keeping with the organizational structure of the Patient Support Solutions division, assumes overall responsibility for specific operations relating to their clients along with the Program Manager, the implementation of contractual agreements specific to the delivery of client service on a specific drug therapy and/or other related projects.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Management:xc2xb7 Supports the business growth of BSRx with a focus on customer growthxc2xb7 Uses exceptional customer service and negotiation skills to cultivate a partnership with the PMs and clients based on integrity and trustxc2xb7 Supports PMs in their day-to-day operations and the formulation of program specific objectives and goalsxc2xb7 Supports the procurement, implementation, launch and development of revenue generating programsxc2xb7 Successfully negotiates, executes, statements of work, service level agreements, and contract amendmentsxc2xb7 Actively seeks and includes client feedback and perspective in program outcomes and process improvementsxc2xb7 Communicates program updates (including competitive intelligence and strategic insight) on an ongoing basis with the directorxc2xb7 Develops recommendations for program improvements based on best practice and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industryxc2xb7 Develops cases and proposals that deliver prompt, cost effective, safe solutions to the client and Bayshorexc2xb7 Consistently and proactively shares strategic market insight with Pharmaceutical customerxc2xb7 Leads strategic projects as assignedxc2xb7 Attends client meetings in person as needed. Works towards building strong ties with clientsxc2xb7 Always maintains confidentiality of client and corporate informationxc2xb7 Serves as strategic primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders and partners to address and ensure resolution of issues in a timely mannerOperations:xc2xb7 Demonstrates strong leadership and delegates effectively to meet organizational and program objectivesxc2xb7 Oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPI), customer satisfaction and other performance metrics in accordance to the Master Services Agreement and Statements of Work to ensure client expectations are met and maintained.xc2xb7 Facilitates internal and external audits in conjunction with the Quality Teamxc2xb7 Provides strong leadership and strategic direction to the internal team in developing and implementing programsxc2xb7 Supports the Business Development Team with preparing for and executing RFPs as neededxc2xb7 In conjunction with the Implementation Team, manages the development and launch of new programsxc2xb7 Identifies opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and lead process improvement strategies in collaboration with PMsxc2xb7 Leads and facilitates strategic planning for future endeavors.xc2xb7 Provides clear objectives and holds the program management team accountable for meeting collective goalsxc2xb7 Oversees/manages partner vendor contracts and related billing in collaboration with the PMxc2xb7 Ensures that PM is accurately capturing monthly program billing items.xc2xb7 Manages budgets, forecasts and analyze variancesxc2xb7 Responsible for the financial management of their Portfolio and holds P&L responsibilitiesxc2xb7 Ensures PM is conducting scheduled Quality Assurance activities: chart audits, call audits, Adverse Event reportingxc2xb7 Ensures programs are meeting contractual obligation of reporting of Adverse Events within expected timeframexc2xb7 Collaborates with the PM in Development and/or revision of program policies and proceduresxc2xb7 Guides and monitors technological updates and CRM upgrades in collaboration with the PMxc2xb7 Must be able to identify and report AExe2x80x99s to health Canada, Med Info and enter into source system and third party systemsHuman Resources:xc2xb7 Plays a key role in supporting PSS team leadership and developmentxc2xb7 Coordinates recruitment, orientation, training, disciplinary perform reviews, coaching, workload planning, retention initiatives and retention initiatives with human resourcesxc2xb7 Recruits and hires program management team (PM and other roles as needed as indicated in the SOW)xc2xb7 Lead, coach, and mentor PMs; managing their performance towards meeting organizational, program, team and individual objectivesxc2xb7 Supports departmental succession planning and works towards growing the next generation of Bayshore leaders and high performersxc2xb7 Manages program specific employees to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and adhere to government, company and ISO 9001-2000 standardsxc2xb7 Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Responsible for completing Accident Reports for all direct reports who injure themselves on the job, within 24 hours of the incidentxc2xb7 Leads or assist with the implementation of Modified Work Programs for employeesxc2xb7 Develop and delivers employee training: Including, but not limited to clinical and reimbursement programsxc2xb7 Complete other tasks as requestedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSEducationxc2xb7 Graduate of Registered Nursing Program or of any other Registered Health Care field holding current registration with regulatory collegeORxc2xb7 Business graduate discipline in any field (College diploma, Undergraduate, Graduate)Experiencexc2xb7 At least five years of progressive responsibility with recent experience in pharmaceutical program managementxc2xb7 Demonstrated ability to interpret and integrate policies and proceduresxc2xb7 Solid track record in conducting adult education initiatives and proven track record as a program project managerxc2xb7 Demonstrates time management skills as well as an ability to evaluate urgent situations and make appropriate decisionsxc2xb7 Excellent communicatorxc2xb7 Valid driverxe2x80x99s license and willingness to undertake out-of-town travel as requiredxc2xb7 Working knowledge of French language is an assetOther Skills and Abilitiesxc2xb7 Proficient in applying GvP principles and practicesxc2xb7 Knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of business developmentxc2xb7 Operations and service deliveryxc2xb7 Financial management and controlxc2xb7 Program development, implementation and evaluationxc2xb7 Human resources practices.
