We believe in equity, compassion, and innovation, and we're looking for a dynamic Associate Director to help lead our team into the future.

Overview



The Associate Director plays a key leadership role in supporting the overall operations, strategy, and mission of the organization. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position oversees departmental functions, supervises staff, and leads strategic initiatives including fundraising, donor relations, and stakeholder engagement. The Associate Director ensures smooth communication across teams and drives the effective execution of programs and projects that align with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities



Leadership & Operations



Support the Executive Director in overseeing day-to-day operations across departments Supervise and mentor program managers and frontline staff Ensure alignment of departmental goals with organizational strategy Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve service delivery

Staff and Program Oversight



Support staff development, training, and performance management Monitor program outcomes and ensure alignment with client needs and community priorities Support data collection, evaluation, and reporting to demonstrate impact Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in service delivery

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in social work, public administration, nonprofit leadership, or a related field Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit or social services sector Strong understanding of restorative justice, reintegration, and community-based support models Proven experience in staff supervision, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice
