In this role, you will play a key part in business development and project delivery, contributing to the growth of the practice and driving successful outcomes for our clients.This role actively participates in the sales process, crafting compelling narratives that showcase why Bounteous is the ideal Co-Innovation partner. In collaboration with Experience Design (XD) and Product Development teams, you will build accurate, scalable estimates and present solutions to potential clients.The Associate Director engages in all phases of the software development lifecycle, solving complex technical challenges while delivering exceptional user experiences. As a leader, this role guides architects and developers in building robust mobile and web applications using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, and Flutter. • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

• 60%: develop and deliver sales pitch materials
• 20%: lead technical discovery and initial team ramp-up for 1-2 project launches with the goal of delegating primary responsibilities to the project team
• 20%: provide SME support for 2-3+ active projects on an as-needed basis
• Collaborate with the XD team to ensure successful project delivery
• Own the front end build system, defining best practices for frameworks and tools
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that functions across devices and supported browsers
• Establish UI development patterns that align with modern web standards, focusing on accessibility and performance
• Architect reusable front-end components and optimize content author workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on application development experience in a professional environment
• 5+ years of React experience
• 5+ years of mobile app development experience
• Experience implementing inclusive design best practices, exceeding WCAG standards
• Proficiency in modern web technologies, including CSS, TypeScript, HTML5, Tailwind, and Vite
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest or equivalent tools
• Familiarity with Git
• Experience working as part of a cross-functional team in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4-year degree in CS/Engineering, be a bootcamp grad, or be self-taught with practical experience

$127,000 - $170,000 a yearIndividual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs.
