Associate Director, Campaign and Development Operations

Branksome Hall just launched Make Way, the most ambitious fundraising campaign in its history seeing unprecedented success, raising over $25M towards its $30M goal, including securing the largest gifts in its 120 years.

This campaign is a defining moment in the Branksome story, to support the next generation of creative and innovative thinkers and help them realize the role they will play as trailblazers, problem solvers, thought leaders and change makers.

We are looking for an Associate Director, Campaign and Development Operations who will be a key member of a collaborative, mutually supportive and high-performing team to build on our success and help cement Branksome\xe2\x80\x99s position as an exceptional, accessible and innovative leader in girls\xe2\x80\x99 education.

Come Make Your Mark:

We are seeking an experienced leader to play a key role in developing strategy and overseeing its execution, leading to the successful completion of the Make Way campaign and the growth and development of Branksome Hall\xe2\x80\x99s Advancement program. \\

Reporting to the Director, Campaign and Development, the Associate Director will play a pivotal role in growing every aspect of fundraising by leading the team that supports the prospect facing fundraisers. The Associate Director will work closely with the Director, Campaign and Development to create and implement the overall strategy for the fundraising team and implement strategic and tactical plans to attract gifts at all levels, from annual fund to transformational gifts.

The successful candidate will also lead, oversee and work alongside four direct reports with:

Developing strategy and providing oversight to the execution of programs to steward gifts at all levels;

The creation of messaging and materials in support of Major and Annual Giving, fundraising events and donor stewardship initiatives;

Data integrity and records management, gift processing, reporting, analytic tool development and implementation, and database and web integration.

The prospecting and pipeline process and identifying prospects in support of the Make Way Campaign.

Some evening and weekend work to support the goals of the campaign will be required.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess a university degree in a related field with a demonstrated track record of 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 progressive leadership in a successful, fast-paced Campaign, Development or Advancement office. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. A graduate certificate in fundraising and experience in an educational institution would be considered an asset. The Associate Director will have knowledge of and experience in the areas of stewardship, campaign communications, database management and analytics, as well as prospect development and research. You will possess superior verbal and written communication skills, excellent prospecting skills with a proven ability to uncover leads from databases and other sources and demonstrated awareness of the donor relationship cycle. The successful candidate will be proficient with Raiser\xe2\x80\x99s Edge and have experience optimizing processes within a fundraising environment. We are seeking a leader who is flexible, thrives in a highly collaborative environment and is skilled at employee development and growth. Proficiency with MS office and Google applications, as well as an understanding of relevant CRA regulations will round out your profile.

Target Hiring Range: $90,600 - $113,200
