Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental health. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and comprehensive treatment planning. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for providing a full range of general dentistry services, including restorative, cosmetic, pediatric, and surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using dental terminology and medical records review Provide various dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery Utilize dental imaging tools and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards Conduct patient care activities including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and education on oral health maintenance Collaborate with dental team members to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Use dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and record keeping Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety procedures during all procedures Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry practices to enhance patient care quality

Qualifications



DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school with valid licensure to practice dentistry in the state Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and root canal therapy preferred Familiarity with dental office management software such as Tracker Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures with precision Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient populations including pediatrics Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and medical imaging techniques Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable

Pay: $119,550.19-$421,679.45 per year
