We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and specialized procedures such as oral surgery and root canal therapy. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop effective treatment plans.
Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Manage medical documentation accurately using electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their oral health, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and current best practices in dentistry.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times.
Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery and support the clinic's operational goals.
Experience
Proven experience in dental office settings or dental clinics is preferred.
Proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery is a plus.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and the use of dental equipment for extractions and other procedures.
