We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and patient comfort, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license.
Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Familiarity with root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other specialized procedures.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
