Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Conduct a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
• Manage pediatric cases with sensitivity and expertise to create a positive experience for young patients.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid provincial dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix software; experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a collaborative team.
