Job Summary


Senior Mobile Dental Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled

Associate Dentist

to provide on-site dental care at retirement homes and long-term care facilities across the Ottawa region. In this mobile role, you'll work independently with the support of trained dental assistants and administrative staff to deliver high-quality oral health services to seniors. Your work will directly enhance comfort, dignity, and quality of life for vulnerable populations who may otherwise have limited access to dental care. Duties



Perform comprehensive dental assessments and create individualized treatment plans for residents Provide preventive and restorative treatments, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and denture adjustments Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Work alongside mobile dental assistants and communicate effectively with in-facility care teams, including PSWs and nurses Educate residents and caregivers on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols in mobile care settings Travel to retirement and long-term care facilities across the Ottawa region Uphold the values of compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care in every interaction

Requirements



Active and valid

RCDSO license

in good standing Minimum

1 year of clinical experience

(in Canada or internationally) Ability to work

independently

in off-site or mobile clinical settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a

compassionate approach to elder care

Familiarity with electronic charting and clinical documentation standards Commitment to infection control and maintaining a safe, clean working environment Flexibility and professionalism when working in diverse facility environments

French language skills

are an asset Experience working with

geriatric or vulnerable populations

Pay: $55.00-$90.00 per hour
