Duties
Perform general dentistry procedures including exams, restorations, extractions, and preventive care.
Document patient records accurately using Akitu One electronic health record systems.
Collaborate with team members to develop personalized treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and treatment options.
Maintain sterilization protocols and adhere to infection control guidelines.
Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Valid dental license to practice in the Ontario
Experience with Akitu One software is highly preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is advantageous
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
