Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including restorative and preventive care.
Perform various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems like Dentrix or Epic.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Manage pediatric cases with a gentle approach to ensure a positive experience for young patients.
Skills
Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for creating dental restorations.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience working in a dental office setting with knowledge of office protocols.
Familiarity with Epic or Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
