Job Overview

Seeking an experienced dentist to take over either the entire schedule or part of the schedule of an associate who is leaving on maternity leave.

The position officially starts on Feb 16th but we invite the candidate to join us as early as Feb 2nd for orientation and familiarization.

The candidate can start as part or full time and the hours are to be decided together with the principal dentist to make it mutually satisfactory.

We are a dynamic busy private family practice with high standards and pride in the services we offer. We are looking for a candidate with team-work attitude, high integrity and good leadership skills. The candidate needs to be independent (will often be the only leader in the office), proficient in most areas of dentistry, including use of digital technology, and especially comfortable treating children. Experience with complicated extractions, endodontics, and CEREC is a huge asset

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans using Dentrix. Conduct various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns. Provide pediatric dental care, ensuring gentle and effective treatment for young patients. Utilize CAD/CAM technology for designing and fabricating dental restorations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with medical terminology standards and practice protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.

Experience

Experience in a clinical setting a must Enough experience to have the confidence to be the only dentist in the office, able to lead the team and keep the practice's flow, making decisions and managing 3-4 hygienists needs during their shift (recalls, local anesthesia, specific patients concerns, emergencies, etc) Fluent in French a great asset but not necessary
