Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Conduct restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges. Manage pediatric patients with a focus on creating a positive experience for children. Utilize dental software systems for patient management and record keeping. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments. Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining high ethical standards in dentistry.
