Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. The Associate Dentist will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Demonstrate interest in or be able to execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care. Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with PHIPA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dental staff to provide excellent patient care and support during and after treatments. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Power Practice (exan), Dexis and Trios.

Skills

Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficient in imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with dental documentation practices and standards. Ability to effectively communicate with patients regarding treatment options and procedures. Demonstrated expertise in infection control measures within a dental setting. Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic is preferred but new graduates are welcome. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $99,365.90-$395,146.39 per year

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
