Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experience Associate Dentist to join our privately owned dental practice, 2 to 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, a passion for providing high-quality dental care and a commitment to patient satisfaction. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct routine procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals Utilize ClearDent dental software, and if proficient, utilize in-house milling and 3D printing Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures Collaborate with dental hygienists, CDAs, sterilization tech, treatment coordinaator and administrative staff to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Licensed with the British Columbia College of Oral Professionals Minimum 10 years experience in a dental office setting Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
