Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our family practice for two Saturdays per month. The ideal candidate has a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of practice. The successful candidate strives to build strong patient relationships, is at ease with using state-of-the-art technology, and has excellent communication skills. Our clinic is fully compliant with the COVID-related guidelines of the RCDSO and CDHO. We are a paperless office, using Tracker as our patient database software.

Responsibilities

Patient Relationships: establish long-term relationships, retention and patient loyalty through exceptional communication. Conduct comprehensive patient exams to determine appropriate treatment plans: motivate and educate patients on achieving their best oral health. Perform a range of dental procedures including restorations, endodontic procedures, crowns and bridges, oral surgery and implants. Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records in compliance with regulations. Provide patient education on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Exercise leadership and collaborate with a team of dedicated dental professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Previous Canadian work experience in all aspects of dentistry is highly valued: experience and fit are key. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment. Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude towards patients and staff.
Schedule: Two Saturdays per month (9am - 4pm)

Compensation: Greater of Per-Diem or standard draw.

Start date: December 2025
