Job Description

Infosys is seeking a SAP Basis Operational. As a Associate, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.



Basic Qualifications



Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto/Sudbury/ Mississauga, Ontario or Calgary Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

The Position may require travel to the client location

Should have worked extensively in SAP ECC systems with Implementation experience as a must. Should have sounds experience SAP Rollout & conversion projects using SAP ASAP/ Activate methodology. Excellent working experience in SAP Configuration, Design, Build, SIT/ Integration and Regression testing, documentation, user training, data conversion and data migration.

At least 1 year of experience in SAP Basis installation and configuration

Strong Hands-on experience in SAP BASIS Administration tasks in Production Support

In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions running on database technologies HANA /Oracle / MS SQL server & platforms windows / Linux

Experience with SAP installations, Upgrades, OS/DB Migration, System copies & refreshes and Performance Tuning

Knowledge of technology stack for SAP ECC, Business Intelligence (BI/BW), Enterprise Portal (EP), SLD, Process Integration (PI/PO), SAP NetWeaver Gateway, Fiori, Web Dispatcher, SAP mobile Platform (SMP), SAP HANA, HANA cockpit

Experience on Installations and migration of SAP servers from different Datacenters (Homogenous and Heterogeneous)

Perform core Basis functions (e.g., Corrections, Support packs, Kernels, Patching, Transports, CHARM, OSS Notes, CCMS) with knowledge on Installations, configuring and maintenance.

Basic DB administration tasks, like, Backup, Table/Index reorg, Tablespace maintenance, SQL Query analysis, long running SQL performance analysis using Tuning advisor etc.



The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.



Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 75000 to $ 103042.
