  • Previous Client Service experience

  • Foundational knowledge of the mortgage industry or law firm
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Summary

The Associate Closer strives to aid mortgage lending clients. You\'ll communicate and coordinate closing process information to clients and lawyers/title companies to ensure accurate information and timelines are on track to finalize the mortgage funding process. To qualify for this position, you are required to have valid Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with clients using written and verbal communication methods with a positive, empathetic and professional attitude
  • Understand conditions needed to obtain final loan approval and review them with the client for closing
  • Understand how the different teams in the mortgage process impact the client experience, and change communication tactics based on the information
  • Schedule mortgage closing dates with clients and assist in rescheduling if needed
  • Deliver final figures to clients
  • Answer questions from client/agent/insurer/solicitor throughout the closing process
  • Communicate with clients through various channels, responding promptly to client inquiries
  • Review accuracy of information for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Communicate and coordinate with team members as necessary
  • Ensure client satisfaction and provide professional and timely client support and communication to both internal and external clients
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Manage individual pipelines and service level agreements (SLA\xe2\x80\x99s)
