Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Associate Clinical Data Analyst, to work at a globally-known manufacturer of with-patient / healthcare solutions that are reliable and cost-effective in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for clinical data management (CDM) activities and operations for new and ongoing clinical research studies including the contribution to the Data Management Plan (DMP)and the CDM start-up activities required to initiate a new clinical trial, as well as the timely creation of queries and resolution of issues related to the ongoing conduct and closeout of clinical trials. * Location: Ottawa, ON

Duties and Responsibilities: * Participates in the development and quality control (QC) of data management documents including data management plans, data review guidelines, and database validation protocols
  • Participates in the review of Clinical Research (CR) documents (e.g., protocols, reports and statistical analysis plans) by interacting with various CR groups including Project Managers, Clinical Scientists and Statisticians
  • Coordinates activities by working with Clinical Scientists, Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Safety Monitors, Systems Analysts, QC Analysts ft Standards Librarian
  • Leads in the development of Clinical Study EDC and Study Reports
  • Assists in addressing technical issues with clinical study EDC and reports
  • Performs under limited supervision Clinical Data Management activities by using Clinical knowledge, data listings and manual review of eCRFs to issue queries and clean data as required
  • Acts as a project lead on small, well-defined projects
  • Documents and maintains Quality records
  • Assists in FDA, Quality and other audits that involve Clinical Database and Data Management
  • Performs other duties as required
Requirements and Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree (\xc2\xb1 16 years) in Computer Science or Scientific Disciple is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role is required
  • Proficient in developing computer applications\\scripts\\macros in any of the following environments (C++, Python, JAVA, MS Office, R\\Rstudio)
  • An expert in developing computer database applications (SqlServer preferred)
  • Certification in the design and development of clinical study Electronic Data Capture (EDC) Systems (IBM Clinical Development Preferred) is a must
  • Working knowledge of Clinical Study Regulations and how they apply to Clinical Data Management is desired
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
