This Associate Brand Manager position reports to a Brand Manager and will assist on multiple tasks related to various brands. Duties include a combination of administrative, project management and specialized assignments. The associate will be expected to facilitate the progression of projects as well as multi-tasking and flawlessly executing multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain brand calendars, presentations, line lists, order forms, product training and merchandising launch plans
Facilitate marketing, field and merchandising materials by coordinating requirements with multiple departments; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt etc.,
Execute creative briefings for various creative needs (retailer flyers, print advertising, online/e-commerce initiatives, merchandising requirements etc.)
Assist with Canadian ready marketing layouts (copy development & proofing)
Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, advertising; maintaining research databases
Supports marketing staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses
Manage and maintain new item management database for various brands
Monitor and report brand's marketing activities relevant to Canadian Market
Manage regulatory requirements including research, submission, follow-up and maintaining database
Maintain Showroom, Sample Room and Work Room
Complete sample requisition/fulfillment for various requirements (PR, Meetings, advertising etc.)
Coordinates meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments
May be required to update and manage social holidays calendars to assist in marketing concepts
Monitors budgets by comparing results with plans and forecasts
Assist with promotional planning, tracking and allocations
Assist with inventory management
Perform day to day duties as required (Photocopying, Packing, Shipping, Gift wrapping, etc.)
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in the Beauty industry or a related field is preferred
University degree or college diploma in Business Administration / Marketing
Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel including formulations such as VLOOKUP, ROUNDUP, PIVOT TABLES etc.
Ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple projects
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines and time-sensitive requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and organized
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willing to work overtime if required
Access to vehicle is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
