ASSOCIATE - BANKING AND FINANCE LAW
Montreal

The employer we represent, an international law firm, is currently seeking a junior lawyer to join its Banking and Finance Law Group in the Montreal office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to actively participate in various mandates involving, among other things, asset finance, real estate finance, structured finance and syndicated loans, with a clientele composed of banks, financial institutions and other lenders, as well as Canadian, American and foreign borrowers.

Applicants considered for this position must have at least one articling experience in business law, ideally in the areas of transactional, real estate, financing and/or banking law. A list of transactions in which the lawyer has been involved may also be attached to the CV in order to detail the relevant experience accumulated to date. Please note that you are still eligible for this position even if your practice (current or past) is not 100% concentrated in business law, since it is your cumulative experience in mandates related to this field of practice that will be evaluated.
