We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee team management, ensure food safety standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining efficient restaurant operations while fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and customers.

Duties



Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving activities Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Supervise and train staff on food service, hospitality, and customer service best practices Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members Lead team management efforts, including scheduling, delegation, and performance evaluations Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas Support restaurant management in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels Assist with barista services or hotel-related hospitality functions as needed

Skills



Proven supervising experience within the food service or hospitality industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise preferred Ability to oversee restaurant operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Effective communication skills for interviewing, training, and team coordination Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory control and staff scheduling Background in food industry roles such as restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or hotel experience is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating professionalism and leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
