Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Assistant to join our team at our clinic in Canada. This role is vital in supporting our dentists and ensuring a positive patient experience while contributing to our mission of providing top-quality dental care.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to protocols. Manage patient records using Dentrix software efficiently. Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries. Support orthodontic and pediatric treatments as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral health practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with proficiency in Dentrix.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dental procedures. Bilingual in English and French is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practice. Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is required.
