We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistante dentaire to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Assistante dentaire or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment is an asset. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and comfort. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in using dental software for scheduling and record keeping is advantageous. Must be able to comply with health and safety regulations in a clinical setting.
