Assistant Water Technician

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Well Technician with a valid AZ or DZ License to construct water wells for residential and commercial use.

Responsibilities include:

Providing details for well records, drilling, site visits, fulfillment of Ministry of Environment requirements, daily safety inspections, truck logs, drill rig maintenance and repairs, welding, among other duties directly related to water well drilling.

The successful candidate will need to work collaboratively with their Driller to procure wells in a safe, professional and efficient manner. They will work closely with the Kapuskasing office to provide details and locations for wells to be drilled and specific details for completed wells.

Most of the work will be completed in Northern Ontario and surrounding area, and will require overnight travels. Hotel accommodations and meal allowance are provided by Northland Well Drilling.

During the drilling season (June to December), we work a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with 12-hour shifts. In the off-season, the schedule shifts to Monday through Thursday with 10-hour workdays.
