### Your role and responsibilities
Join the Electrification Distributed Solutions (ELDS) team at ABB as a Project Manager intern supporting Project management team. The ELDS project management team manages projects across Canada, providing electrification solutions for various utilities, contractors, and industrial or commercial clients. Your role will support project execution, delivery, and continuous improvement, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project completion. This internship offers hands-on experience and provides valuable insights into ABB's global processes and the execution of electrification projects. o Support the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area as directed. o Collaborate with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within defined timelines. o Utilize understanding of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements. o Communicate with the business to understand existing processes and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts in the project. o Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. o Assist in the construction of the SharePoint site for the project management group. o Prepare shipping documents and follow up on the shipment of equipment from suppliers. o Assist the documentation team in managing and transmitting documents.
### Qualifications for the role
• Enrolled in a Project Management program or similar.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic understanding of project management principles.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly.
