Assistant Team Leader
Job Description

We are looking for an energetic individual who has an exceptional eye for detail, can work well with others, and is an excellent organizer. Key role will be to take direction from the team lead and be able to work with and motivate a small team. Most tasks are associated with assembly line style work.
The ideal candidate has some flexibility with hours due to volume changes during peak and non-peak periods. Regular hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work will be required during peak times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist the team leader to oversee all tasks for one of our growing facilities Plan, lead, organize & control (PLOC) Work with the location grower to ensure tasks are completed on time and in an efficient manner
Qualifications:
A positive can-do attitude with a drive to succeed and go the extra mile Ability to work extended hours as required by the season Willing to work Saturdays and evenings if required by workload Ability to remain calm under pressure Take initiative to learn new techniques to continue improving processes Ability to work as part of a team Willing to help where needed Past experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right individual Fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish is an asset but not required.
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
1 year of team lead experience is an asset. A positive 'can-do' attitude is required.
