Wonder Years Child Care is a non-profit, licensed, child care centre, located in Norwich Ontario. Wonder Years has been an operating child care centre since January 2021 and is consistent with the Ministry of Education's policy by operating a program that constitutes high quality childcare, early years programming and pedagogy that supports each child's learning and developmental needs.

We are looking to hire a highly organized, professional RECE to join our team on a permanent basis as an Assistant Supervisor. The successful candidate will work 36-40 hours a week and will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the centre.

The Assistant Supervisor must help provide leadership consistent with our mission and vision statement and policies and procedures. This individual is responsible for working effectively with staff, families and children and connecting with the community. They will be responsible for helping educators with program planning, and completing various administration duties.

Qualifications/Credentials:

Must be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Must have at least 2 years minimum working in a licensed child care setting
Must have a current Police Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Must have First-Aid and CPR
Must have or willing to obtain Food Handlers Certificate
