What you'll do:
The Sud City Assistant Manager will report to the Sud City Manager and is responsible for ensuring our customers receive a high level of customer service while assisting with the oversight of the Sud City Convenience Store, Car Wash, and Deli/Kitchen. This role involves assisting with the planning, organization, direction, control, and evaluation of the gas station, car wash, and deli/kitchen. Key responsibilities include:
• Customer Service : Ensures prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Handles inquiries and resolves issues. Identifies areas for improvement and implements strategies. Engages and interacts with customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Inventory and Financial Management: Oversees product receiving, display coordination, and inventory levels. Oversees financial aspects such as budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Sales and Operations: Supports sales targets and operational goals. Analyzes sales data, implements strategies, and ensures efficient department operations. Maintains cleanliness and organization. Ensures proper maintenance, care, and use of all Sud City equipment and property.
• Human Resources and Leadership: Develops and maintains a competent, enthusiastic, and courteous team through training, supervision, and delegation of responsibilities. Manages recruitment, hiring, terminations, and performance management. Creates and maintains employee schedules, reviews timecards, and manages electronic timecards. Fosters a positive work environment and demonstrates flexibility with shifts and is on call for urgent situations. Ensuring health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met.

Who you are:

• You have 3+ years of relevant customer service experience with 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
