Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and achievement of sales targets. Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver outstanding customer service and meet performance goals. Manage merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales. Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping duties with accuracy and integrity. Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and ensure high levels of team performance. Conduct regular inventory checks, purchasing, and stock management to maintain optimal product availability. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and store procedures. Assist in budgeting, payroll processing, and administrative tasks related to store management.

Requirements



Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles within a retail environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable. Proficiency with POS systems, merchandising tools, and basic bookkeeping software. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, marketing, pricing strategies, and sales management. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and payroll processing is preferred. Strong customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining integrity. Knowledge of administrative procedures including inventory control, purchasing, and record keeping. Pay: $134,400.00-$155,880.97 per year
