About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager with daily operations -- including sales performance, merchandising, staffing, and customer satisfaction. You'll lead by example, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming store for both customers and team members.
What You'll Do
Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve sales and service goals.
Act as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager is away.
Support recruitment, scheduling, and training initiatives.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve concerns promptly.
Execute merchandising plans, seasonal setups, and promotions.
Maintain store standards, including safety, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy.
Assist with reporting, cash handling, and compliance with company policies.
What You Bring
2-3 years of retail or supervisory experience ("big box" retail an asset).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A customer-first mindset and ability to build strong team relationships.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $24.52-$36.00 per hour
