We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties
*Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
*Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
*Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
*Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
*Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning to meet store goals.
*Implement marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance store visibility.
*Maintain effective communication with team members regarding store policies and procedures.
*Oversee pricing strategies and ensure compliance with company standards.
*Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure smooth transaction processes.
*Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Skills
*Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and purchasing decisions.
*Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
*Proven experience in retail management with a focus on sales management and customer service excellence.
*Proficient in payroll processing, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
*Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management and training & development initiatives.
*Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
*Familiarity with merchandising strategies that drive sales performance.
