Position Summary

The

Assistant Store Manager / Supervisor

will support day-to-day store operations, coordinate departments, and ensure smooth and efficient operations while enhancing customer satisfaction.
This position requires

3-5 years of supermarket management experience

, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and department coordination Monitor inventory, merchandising, promotions, and routine procedures Respond to operational issues and customer needs

Staff Management

Assist with staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and on-site supervision Train new employees and help improve service standards and efficiency Support employee performance evaluations and team development

Sales & Customer Service

Help achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction Address customer complaints and special requests professionally Support front-end operations such as cashiering and product handling

Operational Support

Monitor equipment and facility status; report maintenance issues Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with store policies Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and supplier communication

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in supermarket or retail management (supervisor level or higher) Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service, and team leadership

Basic English communication

(Cantonese and Mandarin will be an asset) Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle pressure and multitasking Able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to work

6 days/week, 8-12 hours/day

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
