Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies. Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer service standards. Manage merchandising efforts by organizing displays, pricing products accurately, and ensuring inventory levels meet customer demand. Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase store revenue through effective marketing, promotional activities, and customer engagement. Monitor store performance metrics, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and payroll processing. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a strong team aligned with company values. Support marketing initiatives by promoting products and special offers both in-store and through community outreach.

Qualifications



Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles within a retail setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising tools, and basic bookkeeping software.
