Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective time management, and a passion for retail management.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and maintaining high standards of customer service. Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. Manage cashiering duties, including overseeing cash handling procedures and ensuring accuracy in transactions. Maintain an organized store environment by implementing effective merchandising strategies. Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing payroll to ensure optimal staffing. Drive sales initiatives by engaging with customers and promoting products effectively. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the Store Manager on staff scheduling and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail management or as a clerk is preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in time management to prioritize responsibilities effectively. Demonstrated experience in sales and customer service excellence. Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
