We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Lead and supervise sales associates, providing training and development to enhance team performance. Manage merchandising efforts, including product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory control. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and bookkeeping activities with accuracy. Coordinate recruiting efforts, participate in interviewing candidates, and support onboarding processes. Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase store traffic and sales. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management review. Assist with purchasing decisions and inventory management to optimize stock levels. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Support budgeting activities and manage store expenses effectively. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, leadership, and team management.

Requirements



Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles within retail environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic bookkeeping tools. Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, marketing, pricing strategies, and sales management. Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and payroll processing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of budgeting, cash handling procedures, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $19.00-$19.75 per hour
