Aqua Master Halifax is looking to add a dedicated assistant store manager to our team. Aqua Master Halifax is a family-owned local business that specializes in pool and hot tub products and services with an emphasis on customer satisfaction through a quality customer experience. Growing our management team gives us opportunities to ensure our customers will receive the service they need and deserve. We are excited to have a dedicated team member added to our group that brings their experience and new ideas to help us reach our goals. Our assistant store manager will be working on our front lines dealing with other staff and our customers to support our business success.
Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward staff and customers at all times
Responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints when necessary
Communicating and coordinating with staff to ensure effective operations of our retail location
Keeping storefront and product storage organized and clean to ensure a professional business environment
Working with management to organize and implement daily operations policies and procedures
Coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to help drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service
Staying up-to-date with detailed knowledge on new and existing products
Set store financial targets and implementing new or existing loss prevention procedures
Recruiting, supervising, and developing new staff members
Working with management to deliver promotional strategies and programs
Studying market research and trends to determine and forecast customer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor sales
Find resolutions to customer complaints while representing the business with professionalism.
Requirements:
3-5 years of retail sales experience
1-2 years of office administration experience
1-2 years of supervisory experience
Ability to be organized and multitask
A self-starter and willingness to learn
Comfortability working with computers
Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
