Our Distribution Centre and our Canadian Online Webstore is located in Canmore, Alberta. Our primary goal is to cater to the needs of the guests that visit the properties that we are located in and to provide an ongoing memory that they will cherish for years to come.Assistant Store ManagerAs a member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating the optimal employee experience for our colleagues to ensure they feel: valued, empowered and engaged in their team. It will be your responsibility to not only lead others, but also yourself and the business.What you will be doing:

• Engaging with customers and practicing the Fairmont Stores Selling Standards
• Training, motivating and engaging colleagues with the ability to inspire and create a passionate team
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and year end budgets
• Inventory management and merchandising, maintaining the cleanliness of the Store

QualificationsYour experience and skills include:

• 3+ years of previous Retail Management experience required
• Proven ability to lead and engage a team and take direction from Store Manager
• Demonstrates initiative to achieve financial goals, should have a self starter attitude to make those goals a reality.
• Professionalism, selling skills and attention to detail should be some your top qualities.
• Physically fit to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, maintain appearance of the store, able to lift 25-40lbs and climb three step ladder.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and other stores.
